Theatrical Management: In charge of production, direction, talent acquisition & management, negotiations, problem-solving, equipment acquisition, management & operation, special effects, peripherals, time management, and post event management. First Church of the Nazarene, Topeka, KS.

Football Crowd Management: Helped manage crowds at Kansas State University football games.

Concert Series: Responsible for planning, team leading, budget, talent acquisition, talent hospitality, advertising, ticket sales, supervision of volunteers, technical management, space management, equipment Management, sound engineering, emceeing, post event management, time management, problem-solving. “Coffeehouse” Committee Chair with Student Union Activity Council at Kansas State University.

Special Concerts: Similar to Concert Series, but bigger; larger crowd, larger venue, more problem-solving, crowd management, new venue analysis. Kansas State University.

Dinner Concert: Large special concert plus management of caterer, new venue analysis, responsibilities similar to Concert Series. KSU.

Record Album Sales Event: Big buy & sell event. Standard event management, inventory control, tracking & documentation, volunteer management, customer service, post event management and accounting. KSU.

Art Gallery Openings: Staging, advertising, talent acquisition (musicians), catering management, hospitality, technical maintenance, availability to attendees and customers. The Exceptional Dream Art Gallery, Topeka, Kansas.

5K Run Fundraiser: In charge of volunteer recruitment, coordination with management team, sales management, prizes & awards management, gear distribution, runner registration, volunteer supervision, cash register supervision. Won “best team” of the event two years in a row. Tualatin Valley Centers Mental Health and Addiction Services (now called LifeWorks) in Portland, Oregon.

Weddings: Planning, meetings with brides and grooms, official county registration & documentation, record retention, assistance with vows, timing of sub-events, direction, hospitality, crowd analysis, officiating. I have officiated at 5 weddings. Three gay & 2 straight.

Legislative Testimony: Have organized groups of people to testify on bills before state house and senate committees. Salem, Oregon.

Administrative Rules Testimony: Have organized groups of healthcare licensees for testimony before their boards regarding newly proposed administrative rules. Salem, Oregon.

Special Events: Consultation and strategic planning on all aspects  of events for Bring My People Up (BMPU) and Bring Black Up (BBU) including a Black History Month event held at the Duesenberg Museum in Auburn, IN. Fort Wayne, IN.
