Business Experience:
- Healthcare Alliance for Regulatory Board Reform (HARBR): Executive Co-Director & Co-Founder. Established in 2016, HARBR is a politico-legal non-profit organization initially designed to assure due process in the adjudication of complaints against doctors and other healthcare professionals. Since our inception, we have discovered that the same systems which fail to treat healthcare professionals fairly are failing to protect patient and other healthcare clients. I designed and maintain our website. I created and run our listserv. I am the first responder for new contacts. I create national networks, do research and consultation, devise legal strategy and draft legal documents. I work with regulatory boards and state legislatures on relevant rules, bills, and laws.
- Private Psychology Practice: Sole Proprietor. After many years in clinics, hospitals and other mental health settings, I established a solo private practice in 2003 and continued this practice until 2017. In addition to the work specific to the profession, I managed all aspects of the business.
